Bromptonauts vs bratwurst

A few of us from the London Brompton Club had a late lunch after the factory visit and cooked up a plan to create a foodie wing. Andy Longfellow kindly agreed to organise a visit to Steins where, we were told, they served a metre-long platter of meat. This seemed a worthy challenge …

Sam, Andrew and I met at Liverpool Street to cycle along the river to Richmond to meet the rest of the group. Me leading a ride to darkest west London, especially with much of the ride on the wrong side of the river, was bound to involve a few U-turns, but surprisingly few as it turned out. Of course, having blue wet stuff alongside does help with navigation.

The full group of 14 assembled, we then took a gentle bimble through Richmond Park before the important bit. Spoiler: the Bromptonauts won.
